Product Development & Design Manager
At York Wallcoverings, I served as the Graphic Design Studio Manager for the RoomMates Studio, where I co-selected and led a high-performing design team in collaboration with the executive leadership. I spearheaded the adoption of project management tools, such as Trello, which significantly streamlined operations, enabling the team to maintain output while transitioning from eight designers to just three.
My role combined leadership and hands-on design. I was responsible for organizing workflows, delegating tasks, and directing projects through every stage of development. Alongside overseeing all creative output, I remained an active Lead Graphic Designer– contributing to product design for wall art and decals, packaging design, interior room mockups, and branded marketing assets, including digital banners.
I also worked closely with major licensors, curated artwork for new collections, and created custom illustrations for production. The products I helped develop were featured in leading retailers such as Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Barnes & Noble, Hot Topic, Buy Buy Baby, and Meijer, and were sold internationally.
